STARBOARD WEDGE

THE WIDE EDGE IN SUP SURFING

A versatile surf shape that performs in range of conditions, for beginner and intermediate riders. A more narrow outline than the Whopper for enhanced maneuverability, yet more stable than the Spice for greater comfort. At 32” wide, these boards provide top surfing performance without losing stability, allowing you to surf better for longer.

STABILITY AND PERFORMANCE

The Wedge range features our two best-selling sizes that are 32’’ wide to provide float and stability for heavier riders to rip, offering that pro performance and feel without compromising stability or volume.

NARROW NOSE WITH LOW ROCKER

The narrow nose outline allows you to generate more speed on the wave and makes it easier to turn without catching the nose.Low nose rocker helps you get into waves easily and early.

THIN RAIL PROFILE

The thin rails define turning performance, easier for you to turn on rail with less effort creating an amazing feel of response. The thin rails are inspired from the much loved Longboard range for the ultra responsive and reactive feel.

ROUNDED PIN TAIL

The Wedge has a rounded pin tail to maximize turning ability in these wider models. It makes the board very lively and responsive to maneuver, allowing you to have full control when stepping back to turn.

BOTTOM SHAPE

Generates lift, drive and speed as it channels the water from nose to tail, through to double concave for sensitive rail to rail turning from the mid point, through to vee tail for reactive pivot turning on the tail.

FIN SETUP

2+1 fin setup provides comfortable straight-line tracking on flat and gives drive and control in surf.

4+1 fin setup uses 4 side fins and gives fast acceleration and instant down the line speed as it does not have a drag from the larger centre fin.

9’2” only 2+1.

8’7” features 4+1 and 2+1 setup.

BOARD SOCK

Reduces paper waste and protects your board from dust, scratches, and UV damage. Made of stretchable polyester, it fits various board shapes and has a secure drawstring closure.

CONSTRUCTION: LIMITED SERIES

TIMELESS LOOK, SOLID PERFORMANCE

› Twin T-stringers made from glass fibre are positioned on the deck and bottom of the board close to the rail, providing a massive increase in the overall strength against total breakage in surf.

› An additional wide layer of 200g glass wraps the rails for higher strength against paddle impact and further reinforces the overall strength against buckling.

› The deck features reinforced biaxial glass and Australian pine, to resist heel dents and impact from the standing area.

› The nose and tail are wrapped in multiple layers of glass fiber for further strength on these impact zones.

A favorite in testing and development, it turned heads with its control and responsiveness. The 9’2” is much more responsive to turn as the thinner rails require less foot pressure to initiate turns. Ultra reactive and sensitive.

Shoter, stable and sensitive. The thinner rails make the board respond and feel like a narrower board, sharing a similar characteristic to the much-loved Airborn and Longboard ranges. The 8’7” really is the stable high-performance shortboard for those who want to rip yet have enough to make sessions longer.
